Simmer Pot Smells of the season!

I recently went into a house that smelled absolutely divine!!  I used my sniffer and smelled every nook and cranny of the home searching for a plug in or wax warmer device… when I found the smell coming from a little crockpot!

The delicious smell was all things I have in my home! Oranges, apples, cloves, cinnamon, maybe some nutmeg or pumpkin pie spices, a cup or two of water and simmer.  My gosh, it was simply heavenly!

I wish smell-o-vision was a thing, because this smelled like the holidays, like a mix between fall and pure bliss with a little dash of joy and heaven in there.  And the entire house smelled like this.  It filled the entire 3000 plus square foot home unlike any scent thing I have ever used.  I have heard many people talk about throwing a little vanilla and a cinnamon stick in a pot on the stove before showings, but never seen anyone actually do it.  Now I am sold on this simmer pot method!  AND the little crockpot was the perfect size, I actually have a dip crockpot that is only for 1.5 quarts and it is the perfect little size!
